Round 8 - Oulton Park - Saturday 21st June

Peter Williams wins - Terry Brown breaks down

Peter Williams scored his first win of the 2003 season at Oulton Park in magnificent style. Peter from Brecon who lead round 6 at Pembrey initally, made no mistake and was the first Welsh Championship contender home, 3rd overall after starting from the back of the grid. Peter task was made a little easier after Terry Brown, who has been unbeatable at Pembrey, suffered another attack of the away day gremlins and broke a pin in his gearbox during practice and was unable to race. Although Terry was cheerful, Peter was  disappointed at missing the chance to duel with him. "Oulton Park is a lovely circuit and I was looking forward to having a battle with Terry. Still I'm pleased at the win and I also set the fastest lap of the race. "

Next round is at Pembrey on July 5/6
