Peter Salters project

My dream has always been to build my own car, as I couldn't improve on 1min 8.9 around
Pembrey in a rover without spending 1000's. I sold mine to Anthony and bought a Toyota Celica v.cheap £800 for 200+ bhp and am currently in the process of putting it together, I'm hoping to have it out for September as I don't want to rush it as the first season is all about reliability. The cage is just being put in by Graham Hollis this week.

On another note, I'm missing competing this year somthing chronic!

The racing has been fantastic to watch throughout the field, instead of the odd battle we seem to have groups together from front to back. I think this could be one of the best seasons for many years, if you consider that Clive, Cindy, Peter Williams and myself were missing last time out we would have had almost a capacity grid.
