The Welsh Championship shows its support for Help for Heroes armed forces Charity at Pembrey

The Welsh Championship showed its support for Help for Heroes armed forces Charity at Pembrey on June 26th & 27th with Phil Bendall & Russell Haggerty showing their stickers on their cars and Alvin lending his Tiga as part of the display along, with Andy Bradshaw with his rumbling Lotus 30 with a 4.7 Ford V8 (mepg)

Thanks to prompting from Alan Jenkins & Rhodri Jenkins we were able to present them with a donation of £375 raised by the Championship. WRDA chairman Mike Woods did the honours and I bet he didn't have trouble standing to attention to do it! Thanks to Rhodri for the photo

They also had a raffle and were doing a brisk trade selling wrist bands. Henry the Hero (my name for the Giant Teddy Bear) also had a go in Russells' car. Russ said he was quicker than him.
