Hi All,

The year steps on and it is only about 3 weeks to the end of February when we have to make a decision about the future of the Championship. We need 12 entries by the 20th   February for the championship to go ahead. So if you want the Welsh Sports & Saloon Car Championship to keep going please get your entries in NOW!

Not tomorrow or next week but right now. If not that's the end. That will be sad as it's been going on for a long time.

The Critical Importance of Early entries for 2012

Please do read - it is important.

I think everyone will agree that the thought of entry fees being as low as £150 for 2012 is very exciting and almost too good to be true. But it is true.

But for it to happen, IT IS VITAL THAT WE HAVE THE CO-OPERATION OF EVERYONE to make it succeed.  SO THAT YOU HAVE THE CHEAP RACING YOU HAVE ASKED FOR, AND for the Championship to succeed and grow stronger. As you all know ( and you all have done it) if the entry is poor you won’t enter. This is understandable but, if the entry is big then people know the racing will be good, so you want to be part of it. Success breeds success.

So the CUSTOM AND HABIT OF ENTERING LATE HAS TO STOP or the new system will not work and you won’t get your cheap racing.

WE NEED ENTRIES IN WELL BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE  so that the entry list can be published on the website so other competitors can then see who has entered  and what good value racing can be had by entering.

SO HOW CAN YOU HELP?  Early entries is the answer? Why? Read on.

Firstly, we need to have at least 12 paid entries by the end of January so that the March event can go ahead because we have to pay BARC by early February.

So please all enter as soon as possible. There is no risk as I will explain below.

When we have the basic 12 entries we are in a position to go out and sell the event to as many competitors as possible. The greater the entries the cheaper it is.

The earlier you enter then the better the entry list is going to look to attract new competitors. If you all leave it untill about 10 days before to enter, like you may have done in the past, then there will be no time to promote the event and get the numbers up. We have done our best to give you an incredibly priced race entry fee so GUYs help yourselves and us by getting entries in as soon as you can.

REMEMBER The more entries we get the cheaper it is for you.

It is imperative to the success of the whole idea and future of the Championship that the  March event is a tremendous success. SO please get your entries in now, I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

With March a Big Hit, the August meeting will be easier as we will have a track record (excuse the pun! ) and our success will breed success.

AND FINALLY THERE IS NO RISK! Put simply, if we don’t get the numbers, the event won’t go ahead - and all entry fees will be refunded. IT’S ALL DOWN TO YOU GUYS NOW!  Regards  Alan Jenkins
