2016 Schedule Of Events


Historical notes. Located in Highlands County, Sebring is located about 90 miles from Tampa, Orlando and Palm Beach. The track is adjacent to Sebring Regional Airport, just off Highway 98, three miles east of US 27. The 12 Hours of Sebring is run on the GP Road Course, which is 3.7 miles (6.0 km) long, with 17 turns. The current Lap record is 1minute 43.274 seconds set by Sébastien Bourdais, in 2009 in a Peugeot. It occupies the site of the former Hendricks Army Airfield, a World War II training base for the U.S. Army Air Forces B17 Flying Fortress crews. Legendary drivers such as Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Dan Gurney, Phil Hill, Stirling Moss, Juan Manuel Fangio, Jim Hall, Al Holbert, and Bobby Rahal have won the Sebring 12 hour classic.
